im an elf but this roleplaying is for a man so if there is a way i can use it tell me.
Aragard awoke to the sound of someone scaling the wall. He quickly got out of bed and stealthily approached the balcony. While watching he saw a group of men climb upon the tower and mercilessly kill the man on duty. He restrained from letting out a scream. Watching the group make their way to the palace, Aragard ran to wake his father.
He found his father, awake, with Frasierm in his hand. Frasierm looked like a regular sword, except when it was glowing. The glow showed that there were Utals near. Utals were the worst breed of evil. They would not stop until killed. Suddenly there was a hoarse yell from outside the window. And a hairy arm reached in and doused the torch on the wall. The arm was followed by an ugly body and head. The short and squat Utal glared at the radiant sword. Then he lurched for Aragard.
Aragard struggled under the weight of the body upon him. He looked up to see his father’s sword flying through the air. It hit the Utal in the neck with a sickening crunch. The neck and head flew through the air. The body remained standing with a tight grip on Aragard. Aragard struggled through the small space in the arms.
He then ran to the armory and found his sword. In the likeness of Frasierm, his sword glowed at the approach of an Utal. Aragard hid in the corner till the Utal was past him. Then he silently walked up behind the Utal. As soon as he brought his sword up to kill the Utal, the Utal swung around and punched him solidly in the face. Aragard slumped to the ground. He then blacked out.
When he came to, Aragard knew something was wrong. He looked around and saw sleeping Utals all around him. He slowly realized what had happened before he was knocked out. Gaining strength he rose from his spot to see that there were other kids there. Kidnapped by this hideous horde of inhumane animals, “What a way to live!” thought Aragard. He struggled to his feet and looked for a way to break his bonds. Seeing a guard near him he took a stone and smashed the skull of the bitter beast. Then he picked up the knife and sliced his bonds.
Walking to the closest tent he peered inside to see if his belongings were there. In the center of the tent were some tables with weapons and garments on them. He saw his at the far end of the group. Starting to walk in, he saw in the shadows a whole bunch of Utals. They were awake. He stole back to the Utal he had just killed and took the armor. Then he slumped over and started walking bowlegged. Walking into the tent, he felt like a cat in the midst of dogs.
He strolled over to the tables looking at the objects on each one. Walking to various tables he acted like he was looking for something specific. He arrived at his stuff, and glancing around he picked up the whole lot of stuff on the table. Then he turned to go. Suddenly a large Utal marched up to him and demanded what he was doing. Aragard said in his gruffest voice, “I am taking this to the king.” The Utals eyes narrowed and asked why the king should need it. Aragard answered, “I am just a humble servant in His Majesty’s court.” The Utal grunted, and said, “fine do what you will, I’ll send some of my men with you. The prisoner we just got was pretty feisty and I don’t trust his guard.” Aragard told the Utal, “that’s okay, I can handle it.” The Utal marched off to the side and stood.
Once outside, Aragard ran to the trees and donned his clothing. Then he jogged to the stream and washed his bruises. Running toward the direction he thought his house was in, he stumbled upon a small town. There he rounded up some men and told them of the troubles he had endured. They rode to the camp of the Utals. There they found the whole camp awake searching for the lost prisoner. At the sound of horse hooves beating the ground, the Utals grabbed at the weapons on their sides, many falling in the process.
They fled for cover. Many were taking prisoners with them. Aragard saw one young boy on the ground out cold. He rode up to the boy and picked him up. Setting him in the saddle, Aragard rode behind him. They rode to the edge of the battleground. Aragard set the boy under some shelter. Then he rode back to the men, they frantically slaughtered the remaining Utals. Most had gotten away.
Aragard asked which way to Beluvial. The men pointed him eastward. Aragard rode to the boy and asked if he would rather go with the men or if he would want to travel with himself. The boy asked what he would do with Aragard. Aragard replied that he would learn to be a squire and eventually a knight of Beluvial. The boy perked up at the thought of being famous. He decided to study under Aragard.
Aragard and the boy, who was named Kalixin, traveled to the kingdom. Upon arrival Aragard, who had not exposed his true identity yet, ran to the palace expecting a great welcome. When he stepped into the kings chambers, he realized his father wasn’t there. In his stead was a beady looking man with a pig’s nose. Aragard was furious. Aragard asked where King Hallothanam was. The reply was he had died some few days after the attack. At this news, King Hallothanam’s brother came to take his place a king. Aragard marched from the court and to the local healer Artudian, who was a family friend. The doctor said that after he was kidnapped, Aragard’s father died of a sad heart. When that happened his mom ran to her brother’s family in Arthafod.
Aragard spent his time with Artudian. From this great man he learned many things. Including how to use magic, these things became useful. All you had to do was utter a silent word and then what you want it to do to the enemy or target. The first thing he learned was to tell a fire to flare out at his enemy. He spent hours training with his mind and weapons alike. When he finished one task he would jump to another. Immediately, he felt a change in his appearance and attitude.
When his time came, Aragard took up his weapons. He traveled to Arthafod. At his side, as usual was Kalixin. On their journey, Kalixin slowly gained knowledge in the use of arms and magic. One night they settled down to rest when in their midst appeared a man, old and bent over. The man took his cane and sat himself down on the edge of a stone. His face was watchful. Aragard offered the man a piece of stale bread and warm water. He apologized for the inconvenience of bad food and water. The man said that is ok. All the sudden there was a flash, and in the old mans place was a tall sturdy young fellow about the age of Aragard’s cousin. He introduced himself as Kithrothopem. He said that a bad wizard had placed a spell over him. He would have to remain an old man; till some one showed the man courtesy and he showed it back.
That happened to be the day he met Aragard. Kithrothopem asked if he could journey with Aragard as far as Mofelsa, since that is where he heard the Wizard would be. Aragard said hell think bout it. He said for now just relax and enjoy yourself. Aragard went off into the forest to think. He had a bad feeling about this man. As he was sitting there in a tree he fell asleep. When he awoke he didn’t know where he was. He slowly realized he was in a bed. It was soft and he was unaccustomed to it. He got up and looked outside. There was his horse and that of Kithrothopem.
He went downstairs to find he was in an inn. He looked around and saw Kithrothopem in a corner. He went over and asked what had happened. Kithrothopem said he had heard a crash in the forest so he ran to find Aragard on the ground. He picked him up and took him to the camp and asked Kalixin where the nearest city was. Kalixin pointed north and said ill take the lead. Once they got to the city they laid him in the inn. Aragard said is thanks and said that the man would be welcome to travel with them. So they set off on their journey. That night they had roasted a duck. Then they sat around the fire and gossiped. All the sudden Aragard jumped up and asked Kalixin if he would like to spar. Kalixin asked with what. Aragard picked up his weapons sword, bow and arrows and said to Kalixin take your weapons. Kalixin did as he was told.
Then Aragard went to the river and said water freeze, it did and he stuck the tips of each of his arrows and the blade of his sword in and said water attract to the swords. Then he instructed Kalixin to do the same. When he did Aragard picked up his weapons and showed the tips to Kalixin. They were protected by a thick sheet of ice all over the sword, and arrow tips. He then instructed Kalixin to walk back to the camp. When they got their there was no sign of Kithrothopem. They looked around and saw he had taken the horses. Aragard was furious, he knew the man was evil, but he had let him come anyway.
